Across Kenya and the wider region, roughly 570 million smallholder farming households grow the food that feeds families and cities. Most do it with rain that arrives late, diesel that eats profit, and grid power that never comes.

We started Sunrova to fix the affordability problem first. Our Pay-As-You-Grow plan lets a farmer put down a small deposit, pay a monthly installment out of the extra harvest a working pump makes possible, and own the system outright at the end.

We stayed close enough to the farm to keep getting the rest right — sizing systems honestly, installing them in a day, and picking up the phone when something needs attention.
