Any smallholder farmer with a water source (borehole, well, river, dam or tank), a valid ID, and one guarantor. We size the plan around your harvest and cash flow, not a bank statement.
Typically 10–15% of the total kit price. It confirms your order and covers logistics to your farm.
You choose between 12, 24 or 36 months. Longer terms mean smaller monthly installments; shorter terms cost less overall.
Talk to us early. We restructure plans for farmers hit by drought, illness or a bad market season — the kit is not repossessed as a first response.
On the day you make the final installment. Until then Sunrova retains ownership and full responsibility for the equipment.
One day. Our field crew arrives with the panel, pump, pipes and drip lines, sets everything up, tests it, and trains you before they leave.
Yes. The system will pump slower on very overcast days but keeps running. Most farmers pump the day's water within a 4–6 hour window.
Our current kits pump reliably from up to 60 metres of head, and from surface sources like rivers, dams and shallow wells. We size the pump to your source.
Yes — while you're on Pay-As-You-Grow, warranty and call-out repairs are covered under Sunrova Protect. One free service visit is scheduled each year.
You get a phone number for our Care line, a WhatsApp channel, and a scheduled agronomy check-in during your first growing season.
We help you file a police report and, if you've kept up with payments, offer a subsidised replacement. Insurance-linked plans are available in some counties.
